- Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz (RVG) (German Lawyers’ Compensation Act)
- Standesregelung der Rechtsanwälte in der Europäischen Gemeinschaft (CCBE-Berufsregeln) (CCBE Professional Rules)

Information according to § 2 subs. 1 no. 11 DL-InfoV (Verordnung über Informationspflichten für Dienstleistungserbringer – Regulation on Service Providers’ Information Duties):
Lawyers are obliged under the Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO) (German Federal Code for the Legal Profession) to take out and maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum cover of EUR 250,000.00. Further details are set out in § 51 BRAO.

According to § 36 VSBG (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz – German Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters) reference is made to the “Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft“ (German Lawyers’ Conciliation Board) which is a conciliation board for disputes in consumer matters in terms of the VSBG and assumes mediation in the case of pecuniary claims disputes between lawyer and client.
Julia Fuhrmann is neither obliged nor agrees in advance to participate in any online dispute resolution proceedings or dispute resolution proceedings before the “Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft“ (German Lawyers’ Conciliation Board). This is without prejudice to the option of recourse to a conciliation board for dispute resolution during or in the course of any specific dispute if both parties agree according to § 37 VSBG.
